Meet The Team

Robin Keyte
Robin has been a director since 1997, and joined the company after completing a science based PhD. He is a graduate from Imperial College, London. He remains one of the few industry professionals to be a Chartered Financial Planner, Certified Financial Planner and certified to ISO 22222. He is a frequent contributor to Radio 4’s Moneybox, Which? and is often quoted in the financial press.
Robin was awarded Wealth Management Planner of the Year and Cautious Investment Planner of the Year in 2009 by Money Management magazine.
Outside of work Robin has also been involved in the FSA Business Ethics Forum, and in drafting the International Standard for Financial Planning (ISO 22222) and a British Standard for financial planning firms. He has been on the board of UK Sustainable Investment & Finance and was Chair of the Ethical Investment Association. He has also pioneered the use of Industrial & Provident Societies to raise investment for social enterprises.
Robin’s Chartered Financial Planner qualification exceeds the FSA “level 4″ requirement that becomes effective from 31 December 2012.

Samantha Kay
Samantha joined Robin’s team in 2008 and has so far completed her qualifications in the Certificate in Financial Planning (Cert PFS) and more recently the Diploma in Financial Planning (Dip PFS) which she completed in only a year. She is currently studying advanced level exams and is working towards attaining Chartered Financial Planner status.
Samantha graduated from the University of Sheffield with a 2.1 BA (Hons) in Archaeology, Prehistory and Medieval History in 2006 and then from the University of Durham with an MA in Museum and Artefact Studies in January 2008.
Outside of work Samantha likes archaeology, Zumba and modified cars, as well as travelling and spending time with her family and cats.

Duncan Shaun
Duncan joined Robin’s team in 2007 and has completed his qualifications in the Certificate in Financial Planning (Cert PFS) and the Diploma in Financial Planning (Dip PFS) and is qualified to advise on long term care funding. He is currently studying advanced level exams and is working towards attaining Chartered Financial Planner status.
Duncan graduated from the University of Plymouth with a 2.1 BA (Hons) in Business Studies and contributes to all aspects of the business.
Duncan is an active person and in his free time enjoys running, BMX riding and kickboxing. He likes living in Taunton which is where he grew up and where most of his family and friends live.

Graham Virgin
Graham has been a director since 1997 and has been delivering financial advice services locally since the 1980s. He holds the CertPFS qualification.
